About the Company
Lawton Real Estate is the entity operating under the corporate banner of MPL Real Estate, Inc. It is a full service commercial real estate brokerage company specializing in the leasing, management and sale of all types of commercial properties including retail shopping centers, free standing buildings, office, industrial and apartment buildings as well as vacant land.
Michael Lawton is the broker of record with the Department of Real Estate. He has a Juris Doctorate degree from The University of San Diego and has earned the tough to achieve CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member), as well as membership in the SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors®). He is also a long standing member of ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) and AIR Commercial Real Estate. Michael is also a 50% shareholder of J&L RE, Inc. dba Jones and Lawton Real Estate.

II. Michael Lawton |
|
Michael has been a licensed real estate agent since 1975 and a licensed real estate broker since 1990. He was the president of The Brea Chamber for 2008 and remains on its Board of Directors. He also is a former member of the Board of Directors for both the La Habra and Whittier Chambers as well. He remains very active in the Chambers of Commerce for Brea, La Habra and Whittier. Michael and his wife, Setsko, reside at their home in La Habra. He is also a board member of the Saint Jude Memorial Foundation.
